Manchester United transfer rumours and news: Summer transfer window 2023

Man Utd prioritise striker signing

Manchester United’s No 1 priority this summer is to acquire an elite striker to spearhead their attack next season, according to the Daily Mail.

Man Utd ‘agree personal terms’ with Mount

Manchester United are in pole position to sign Mason Mount after agreeing personal terms with Chelsea midfielder, reports the Daily Telegraph.

England international Mount is wanted by Liverpool and Arsenal but a move to Old Trafford looks likely, with United now favourites to sign the 24-year-old.

United boss Erik ten Hag has been confident of winning the race to sign Mount, who has one year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

With Chelsea also allowing Mateo Kovacic to hold talks with Manchester City, these departures would mark the start of a summer overhaul at the club under newly-appointed manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Dalot signs new long-term Man Utd deal

Diogo Dalot has signed a new contract that will extend his stay with Manchester United until 30 June 2028, with an option for a further year.

The 24-year-old defender, who has made 107 appearances for the club, said playing for United “is one of the highest honours that you can have in football”.

“We have shared some fantastic moments over the past five years, and I’ve grown so much and my passion for this incredible club has only increased since the day that I joined.

“As a group of players, we all feel like we are at the start of a special journey right now. I can assure you that I will dedicate myself relentlessly to helping this group to achieve our aims and make the fans proud of this team. That drive continues this week with everyone intensely focused on preparations for the FA Cup final.”

Bayern to compete with Chelsea and Man Utd for Vlahovic

Bayern Munich will compete with Chelsea and Manchester United for the signing of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Bild.

Vlahovic has 14 goals in 42 games for the Serie A side this season.
