ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule Released India to Face Pakistan on October 15 in Ahmedabad

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023, which is set to begin on October 8. The highly anticipated India-Pakistan match has been scheduled for October 15 in Ahmedabad. The tournament will take place from October 8 to November 19 and will feature 10 teams.

The first match of the tournament will be played between India and Australia in Chennai on October 8. The defending champions, England, will take on runners-up New Zealand in the opening match on October 5. The final match will be played in Ahmedabad on November 19.

The tournament will be held in nine cities across India, including Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Dharamshala. A total of 48 matches will be played, with the semi-finals scheduled to take place in Mumbai and Chennai on November 15 and 16, respectively.

The BCCI has already secured direct qualification for eight teams, while the remaining two spots will be decided through qualifiers. The qualifiers will be played between the remaining eight teams, with the top two teams advancing to the main tournament.
