WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Will Roman Reigns unveil new WWE Universal Championship?

This week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown is going to be a special one for Roman Reigns as he celebrates 1,000 days as the reigning champion. Reports suggest that the show will also reveal what happens within “The Bloodline” after Jimmy Uso delivered a superkick to Reigns.

Reports suggest that a new WWE Universal Championship will be unveiled during the upcoming WWE Friday Night SmackDown. According to these reports, a podium will be set up to showcase the “New WWE Championship,” similar to when The Rock unveiled the WWE Championship in 2013.

This announcement has sparked speculation among WWE fans, who are wondering whether the current design of the WWE Championship will be replaced or if it will be retired altogether for a new singular title.

With Roman Reigns celebrating 1,000 days as the Universal Champion and the mystery surrounding the WWE Championship, this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown has everything a WWE fan could look forward to.

In the first quarter, WWE experienced a decline in revenue and profit, but still exceeded Wall Street’s expectations. In April, Endeavor and World Wrestling Entertainment announced that they would create a new publicly traded company to house the UFC and WWE brands, with Endeavor Group Holdings Inc. owning a 51% controlling interest in the new company. Existing WWE shareholders will retain a 49% stake.

The enterprise value of UFC was set at $12.1 billion, and WWE’s value was estimated at $9.3 billion. The deal is expected to be finalized in the second half of the year.
